Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hello all - I'm relatively new to Logic.  Making great progress on 
most fronts, but continually hit a brick wall when trying to get the 
K1000 set up in the environment to give me access to it's internal 
sounds.  It doesn't help that I don't have the manuals for the k1000, 
but --- I've created a multi instrument in the midi instrument 
environment window.  I've got my midi cable hooked up properly to the 
digi 002.  when assigned track is selected, the program number and 
name flips around of its own accord in the arrange window and I have 
no sound.  Suggestions?

I'm also looking for a web site to download K1000 manual from.
