Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

HI,
I posted this on logic-users forum originally. It shows a few of the questions I have about 
'digging deeper'.

Does anyone know the exact differences in dithering options in Logic (Express)
7.1? That
is, is Pw-r 1 (etc) recommended for certain music styles?
Also, there are features I am unsure about, and no book I have seen
addresses....
example... audio energizer. Is this a loudness maximizer?
Is there an advanced book for Logic Express users? For example, the advanced
book in the
Apple training series (by M. Sitter) seems targeted at Logic Pro only.

Actually, the first book by M Sitter is for both Logic and Logic Express.

The second book by D Dvorin is for Logic Pro only.

There may not be any great Logic Express books, because its relatively new, 
and there is a much larger base of Logic Pro users. I would just get any book 
on Logic and then realize some things may not apply. I thought Len Sasso's book 
was good - short and to the point with useful info. Stephen Bennett had some 
books like that too, although I don't think he has updated them to Logic Pro 
(they were for earlier versions). The Apple book seems good for beginners too.  
 I am not a big fan of some of the other books - which seem to be rehashes of 
the manual with no new material and no better way of explaining things. This 
happens for all software - people just put out books which don't improve on 
the manuals that come for free - which are not bad at all.

I noticed that UCLA Extension is offering a Logic class - but a bit pricey 
for most - $995 just for the class.

I haven't seen (in person) the D Dvorin book yet.... will any of it apply to Logic Express? Is 
there a resource that will explain the dithering options and the proper use of sonic 
enrgizer, etc.? Perhaps this is somewhere in the PDF files that come with Logic, but I 
cannont locate it.
