Off Topic help? PreSonus Firepod not recognized!

Hello, I"m trying to help a friend get setup with a firepod, first generation not the FP10. I'm not finding any drivers on the Presonus website ... Here's what my friend says. Thanks for responding so quickly. I have a mac G4 Dual 1.8 ghz PowerPC with 2 gigs of ram running Tiger 10.4.10. I tried hooking it up to another computer, even a PC running Windows XP with all the firepod drivers installed, and no luck. I would say I actually used it for an hour before it stopped getting recognized but I had it plugged in before that for about an hour I guess while I was configuring my software and it was connecting at least as far as the blue light goes. I checked out everything in those links you sent and nothing really changed. I actually wasn't able to change any setting in the audio/midi setup on the computer because if it doesn't recognize the firepod, it won't display preferences for it. I also sent an email to presonus earlier today. Hopefully I'll get a response from them. Thanks for your help.
