Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I have being using both Kirk Hunter and Garritan samples with Logic
Pro 7 with no problem whatsoever, now after installing Logic 8 those
files don't show in the drop down menue of the EXS24 sampler and cant
use them anymore.
I even dragged those files from the "previous Logic Express
Settings"back to the Logic folder in the Application Support folder to
see if that solves the problem and still cant get them to show in the
drop down menu. Whats more, I went back to the Logic Pro 7 app to do
some work and the files don't show there either.

I'm also running into a problem when using Kontakt 2 with L8, in this
case I can load the files(samples) but can't get them to produce sound
from the loaded tracks.

The EXS24 has samples and instruments filed separately. You need the 
instruments too. You can do a search for one of the names that appear in your exs drop 
down. You can also refresh the view, but that is done automatically when you 
create a new instance I think.
