I have the following problem:



Recently, while making some edits of samples, I imported them into the  
arrange window, put in automation for fade ins and outs but then, when  
I begin the save command ie, a little menu comes up �Copying file  
�(gives the name of the file).

then, this:


File with specified name and version number already exists

Result code =   -48
File (gives name of file)

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

This might be something you already tried,
but isn't it something like;
first bounce the new processed track
(fades in arrange are non-destructive, you need to make them  
destructive)
then, give the new file another name?
Using "save as" command?
like
vocals.wav ----> vocals#01.wav
