Vocal Processing

Looking for better ideas for vocal processing. i'm doing the normal stuff eq, compressor, de-esser, etc... just looking for other tricks that people may use. The reason I'm asking is because I found this one over at gearsluts. Seems worth a go. "Try duplicating vocals to 2 tracks pan them L/R, pitch one up about +9 cents one down -9 cents. Delay one 15ms and the other 30ms. Put your dry vocal in, pull down affected tracks, increase their volume till you hear 'em, then pull them back a bit." All comments welcome... just killing time at work. finished early :)
