Move to SPL

Move to SPL

2009-09-11 by Gregory Anderson

Hey, I'm using L8, and am cropping a bunch of audio files that I then
want to have start at measure 1. Is there a "tie to SPL position"
command or something that I can't find? I can use combos of cntl,
shift, and arrrow keys to get a precise starting point, but a "snap
to" command would be a LOT easier.

Thanks,

Gregory

I think there are the things you want.

In L8, in the arrange window, in the upper right, isnt there the
snapping behaviour drop down menu?

I think there is a keycommand to move regions to SPL too. If not, there
is this work around - put a little muted dummy sequence of length one
bar at the start of each track at bar 1. then select each track, and
use the key command to tie by position.
