Hi all, I'm trying to install the v9.1.1 update. When I run the update, I get a window that says 'your computer does not need this update.' I am trying to install the update on an intel Mac Pro with 4gb ram, 2.8 dual processor, and running OS 10.5.8. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how it can be resolved? thanks, Arthur

I had similar problem last week... ...resolved by ensuring Logic was named simply Logic Pronot "Logic Pro 9" or other variations etc. According to Apple Support the updater apparently needs to see an unchanged title. Best, drdave ________________________________

Ok, Once Logic Pro is installed in the applicatios folder, don't move or rename it. If you need it in another location, create an alias that you can move that where you want. Arthur --- On Sat, 3/27/10, Steve Currington <steve@...> wrote:

I was reading the April 2010 issue of Recording Magazine (p.52) that Logic 9 comes with a vocal jam pack - which include both loops and EXS24 instruments. However, I do not see these on my system - where I upgraded from 8 to 9. Has anyone seen them?

Look under ~\Library\Audiio\Apple Loops\Apple You should see a folder called Jam Pack Voices I think that is them. I think theer are aboyrt 1700 files in the pack. I see those loops in my media bin too - but I do not see the EXS24 instruments. They are supposed to be under Lib / App Support / Logic / EXS Factory
