Pitch Correction

Pitch Correction

2010-06-05 by stratjackson

Sorry if this should be more obvious, but I have a few vocal tracks I've recorded to .wav files. I've imported them into Logic Pro 9 and I want to apply the auto-tune / pitch correction effect, but I can't even figure out how to access the effect itself, let alone learn to use it.
Am I trying to do something that can't be done, or...?

I don't have v.9, but in v.8, you put each wav file on a track. Then in the track mixer click-hold on an insert and navigate to pitch correction. To use the plugin, pick the key that the audio is in, or go with chromatic if the vocal varies from the 8-note scale of a given key. Push play, and it should pitch-correct as it plays.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
