Thanks for the info. I plan on trying to build a streetable track
car. I would like to be able to compete well against my class. I was speaking to
the elgibility guru from Rocky mtn vintage racing and he was flipping through
a book of cars and thier motors and the like. He couldnt find any info on a
1600 engine for the '66. He said I would have to get proof. All I have is an
advertisement with the different power plants but there is no date on it. Also,
if you were to build a track/street car what engine trans would you use?Would
it be worth my time to change the rear end. (de dion} Do you recall the way
this car was set up to race back in the 60s
