If it is a left hand drive, there is a cover on the pedel box fastened with 6 screws, on the left side under the bonnet. Remove the screws and the master cylinder is the larger (if your car has a manual shift) reservoir. I have been using DOT 4 fluid with good results.
What is the chassis number of your car?

Could someone please direct me to where I check the brake fluid on a 1970 volvo 3ltr? What grade of fluid is recommended (DOT3, 4 or 5)? Thank you!
