David's right, definitely a real slide guitar on there - but there *is* also MkII guitar present...the latter isn't doing any pitch swoops though, it's just the same note being repetitively tapped away on the keyboard for a few seconds after ''cos I'm going to..' and before 'nothing is real'. It's quite subdued so it's a bit more difficult to really pinpoint in the commonly-available mix but it appears more noticeably in some earlier takes / mixes. If you can get to hear any of those you'll see what I mean. (I'll get my anorak....)
