Teddington SFX MKII

Teddington SFX MKII

2002-03-13 by tronbros@aol.com

Andy, Duncan and all,

I am pretty sure the Teddington SFX MKII has been through our workshop. It
may well be Noel Gallagher's or Ryo Sekine's. It was one we bought from
either Tickle or a guitar dealer in Croydon area who's name escapes me.
Either way I am absolutely sure it is one of the two mentioned above. I
think we have a manual with ABC TV on the inside cover. Were they not based
at Teddington?

Cheers,

M'inge

Dear M'inge and All'

Was it not THAMES Television based at Teddington?.... Or did Thames rise
from the ashes of ABC? ABC had a better logo; worthy of a secret spy
organisation such as Thrush or SPECTRE, I always thought!..... The Thames
one was just a rather dull view of the North Bank unfolding from its own
reflection in the river to the accompaniment of a cheesy bit of ident music.

Cheers f'now!

Hi,
If you remember Martin I chased this tron 3-4 years ago when I was
searching the country for a MKII. It was bought by one of the
electrical engineers at the studio a few years ago (seems I only
just missed it!). I spoke to the guy. He kept it at the studio 'cause
it wouldn't go in the house but eventually he sold it to a music shop
near Kings Cross. From there it found it's way to Streetly and I
believe you told me it went to Noel Gallagher.
