And...if you like seafood, I HIGHLY suggest Shaw's Crab House. I used to hate most seafood...until I ate there! Brad

I would like to respond to Mr. Korb's email. First, if anyone wants a local party to check this thing out, let me know and I can give you a full report. Just clear it with the guy & call me at (630) 963-0557; I can go anytime (my name is Dave). Now the important stuff: 1. Lou Malnati's isn't considered very authentic Chicago pizza by locals/purists I don't think. But if that's what you like, I don't have a different recommendation. 2. I don't think there's anything interesting w/in 4-500 miles of Chicago... just farm country (and the lakes in WI). Notre Dame? What do you do there besides go to church or something? --- In Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com, Jerry Korb <jkorb@i...> wrote: > > > zappaboggs wrote: > > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Hmm - bidding ended for this item because it is no longer for sale. These Mellotron auctions are funny: - half of them are a hoax - half of them are in Europe - half of the auctions end prematurely (exageration, yes) What gives? I monitor eBay for electric Harpsichords, GMS snare drums, and cheap, Chinese-made microphones - all of these items are about as obscure/rare - yet the auctions procede in a fairly normal fashion. Looks like I'll just have to buy new. -jh --- zappaboggs <zappaboggs@...> wrote: > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7345852708&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1

I ended the auction early because someone offered me what I wanted for it. I was comfortable with the price and didn't feel like waiting. The buyer was not a bidder. ebay makes me nuts. Frank
