Modular Synth Panels

OK.  Thanks to everyone that responded.  It is good to see that Ken
is adopting the 6" standard (see below).  But, my existing brackets
that are only 5 1/2 inches tall just don't quite fit the bill.  And,
I hear that some of you think jack mouting instead of pot mounting is
a good idea.

I have only one of Ken's PCBs (so far) so I am not totally tuned into
what to expect for front panel arrangements that can be used for jack
and/or pots to mount the brackets.

So, please give me your ideas for a bracket design.  Here is what I
can tell you that are most certain:

1. Pot and or jack spacing will conform to MOTM specs. That is the
whole concept behind the bracket form factor.

2.  I can put PCB mounting holes (see Ken's note below) to accomodate
1, 2 and 3" wide PCBs, assuming the hole placement from the edges is
consistent.  Those mounting some of the older PCBs would have to
drill their own holes if they did choose to use these brackets.

3. I am willing to use pot or jack mounting, or some comination there
of which might be generic enough to work for all PCBs.

So, please, those of you with more CGS experience than I (which is
almost everyone), tell me what we need.  I'll be happy to make
something.  I want to lean toward the new standard and not go any
deeper than a standard MOTM bracket (~ 4 3/8"). The smaller PCBs will
fit my 3 pot short bracket anyhow.
