Thanks. I checked out the link but it does not seem to apply to me as I am not using a print server, at least I don't think so. I cannot get any configuration stuff like profiles, printers etc. None of the drop downs work. I get the error on boot up not when calling a printer. I also turned off Norton's firewall. --Dick Sullivan From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of nmenghardt Sent: Thursday, March 08, 2012 7:13 AM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Re: I am getting error code 1722 I'm generally Mac oriented but I've done some Windows server work in the past. Have you tried restarting the spooler service? Also, you might try reinstalling the printer that is having this issue. Reboot, Check spooler service or Uninstall printer, reboot, reinstall printer, reboot, try printing. You can check the services by following this post: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverprint/thread/8b959 71d-d98f-4986-95b8-b2bbe46c5452/ I don't know if you've tried these steps as you weren't specific as to what steps you've taken to resolve the issue. Hope this helps! --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com <mailto:QuadtoneRIP%40yahoogroups.com> , "richsul" <richsul@...> wrote: > > Seems to be a remote procedure call RPS service unavailable.
