Maybe not the quite the same but I had a similar problem. After much teeth gnashing etc, I finally found a site that suggested uninstalling all of my printers by editing the registry and reinstalling them in the control panel. The clue here is that QTR does some funny boogey with the printers when loading itself and if one of them is corrupted- blooie! I forgot the exact sequence in the registry but that should be a clue. If I had to bet, it's a bad printer driver. --Dick Sullivan From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Richard Smallfield Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 2:14 PM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] "QuadtoneRip Front End has stopped working" Hi, I'm using Vista and when I load an image into QTR 2.7, I get the message: "QuadtoneRip Front End has stopped working". I've reinstalled it and restarted my PC to no avail. Can anyone suggest a remedy?
