QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,
I'm using Vista and when I load an image into QTR 2.7, I get the 
message: "QuadtoneRip Front End has stopped working".

I've reinstalled it and restarted my PC to no avail.

Can anyone suggest a remedy?
