Hi David, You are right -- color management was a major motivator for this new program. I tried unsuccessfully to work with Apple and Adobe to get CM to work correctly again after new Photoshops and new OS's. Although they tried to work together and came up with undocumented methods it only worked with RGB not grayscale files and drivers. I don't think either really understood/accepted the other's point of view. So Print-Tool should work just like the old CS2 and CS3 and old OSX. You've got the No Color Management and the App controlled (i.e like Let Photoshop Determine Colors) way that uses exactly one CM conversion. The only difference being that Photoshop uses Adobe's color engine but Print-Tool (and OSX) all use Apple's ColorSync engine for the conversions. (the problems all arose not from which engine but the fact that things were often double profiled). Old profiles should work just like they used too.
