Re: Announcing New QTR-Print-Tool Application for Mac OS X

2012-10-05 by David

Roy,
I don't think that you have said this, but I am guessing that a major motivation for developing this program was to circumvent the ongoing problems with printing from recent versions of PhotoShop on the Mac. Should we expect that printing through the Print-Tool and QTR will be equivalent to printing with CS2 and "Let Photoshop Determine Colors"?

After I updated to CS5, I started using the "Generic Gama 2.2" profile for both the document and printer, as recommended in thread on another forum:

I found that I had to relinearize my profiles a bit, but everything has worked well since then. To use your new programs, would I go back to the profiles made with CS2?

Thanks,
David
