QTR-Quadtone RIP

This is a design feature of Photoshop confirmed by Chris Cox resident Adobe
Photoshop guru. This issue was raised on the Adobe Photoshop forum the
response from Adobe was "customers getting confused with profiles". So
Greyscale profiles will never show up in Photoshop - it looks into the
profile to see the color space and if the header contains greyscale will not
be displayed. This along with CYMK profiles will also not be displayed in
Lightroom L  My solution to this is to print from Qimage - not much help to
Mac users.

 

Maybe a workaround is for the profile creator to not have greyscale in the
header but have RGB and fool photoshop.

A bit more information may help get an answer;
Are you using PC or Mac? Operating system version?
Have you installed your own profiles or are you looking for those
pre-installed in QTR?
Which printer are you using?
