No to your primary question. The Epson 3880 is about as good as it gets for QTR.

I have no experience with the Eboni 6 inksets. However, for Cone K7 I am able to get about the same Dmax with the older Epson printers (2200, 7600) as with the newer models (3880, 7800, etc.)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
