I set my 7880 up through the Windows Control Panel, then printing preferences select the paper type, and other stuff as well as platen gap and then print from QTR Hope this helps Mike From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of jagridsdale@btinternet.com Sent: Friday, January 24, 2014 12:16 PM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Set Up Help Please Thanks Mike, that's a simple explanation as to why I couldn't find it. With that in mind how are fine tuning aspects such as the platen gap set for varying paper types given the GUI doesn't seem to have such functionality On 24 Jan 2014, at 20:03, "Mike Kirwan" <mkirwan@...> wrote: You cannot use QTR as print driver direct from Photoshop or LightRoom under Windows. I haven't altered this. The Interface loads fine and my Epson 3800 is recognised, however I can't seem to get Photoshop or Lightroom to find the the newly created Quad3800 printer. I've read both the original and updated (2014)user guides but both offer no explanation - indeed the 2014 is a Mac guide and the Interface is different to what I have. Could someone point me in the right direction as to how Photoshop CC and LR 5.3 'find' the Quad3800. Thanks in advance Garry
