Delete /Library/Printers/qtr (the entire folder), re-name curve to a smaller name, delete printer, reinstall QTR, and re-add printer. Best, Walker > On Mar 10, 2016, at 1:33 PM, bill@... The problem is still there. QTR is still trying to load curves that I deleted, including the one that I think is the bad curve file. When I delete the printer, delete QTR 2.7.7 and reinstall, the bad curve file still shows up when I run the Install3800.command. Here's what I get. The suspected bad curve file is named Pd_KK_3800-UCpK-OHP_new-ziatype-arches-01 > > Installing QuadToneRIP Curves Printer Quad3800 > > Curve Epson3800PdpK-01 > > Curve Epson3800PdpK-02 > > Curve Epson3800PdpK-03 > > Curve Epson3800PdpK-04 > > Curve Epson3800PdpK > > Curve Pd_KK_3800-UCpK-OHP_new-ziatype-arches-01 <----- Suspect File > > Curve Pd_KK_3800-UCpK-OHP_nocurve > > Curve TEST1 > > Curve TEST1_09-12-15 > > Curve TEST2 > > Curve TEST3 > > Curve TEST4 > > Curve TEST5 > > Curve TEST6 > > Curve UCmk-EEnhMatte-cool > > Curve UCmk-EEnhMatte-neut > > Curve UCmk-EEnhMatte-sepia > > Curve UCmk-EEnhMatte-warm > > Curve UCmk-EVelvetFineArt-cool > > Curve UCmk-EVelvetFineArt-neut > > Curve UCmk-EVelvetFineArt-sepia > > Curve UCmk-EVelvetFineArt-warm > > Curve UCmk-HPhotoRag-cool > > Curve UCmk-HPhotoRag-neut > > Curve UCmk-HPhotoRag-sepia > > Curve UCmk-HPhotoRag-warm > > Curve UCmk-MEntradaNatural-cool > > Curve UCmk-MEntradaNatural-neut > > Curve UCmk-MEntradaNatural-sepia > > Curve UCmk-MEntradaNatural-warm > > Curve UCmk-raw-cool > > Curve UCmk-raw-neut > > Curve UCmk-raw-sepia > > Curve UCmk-raw-warm > > Curve UCpk-IlfordSmooth-cool > > Curve UCpk-IlfordSmooth-neut > > Curve UCpk-IlfordSmooth-sepia > > Curve UCpk-IlfordSmooth-warm > > Curve UCpk-PRBaryta-cool-2880 > > Curve UCpk-PRBaryta-neut-2880 > > Curve UCpk-PRBaryta-sepia-2880 > > Curve UCpk-PRBaryta-warm-2880 > > Curve UCpk-raw-cool > > Curve UCpk-raw-neut > > Curve UCpk-raw-sepia > > Curve UCpk-raw-warm > > Curve UCpk-SilverRag-cool > > Curve UCpk-SilverRag-neut > > Curve UCpk-SilverRag-sepia > > Curve UCpk-SilverRag-warm > > Curve Ziatype-Arista-Bergger > > Curve Ziatype-BV3800-Bergger > > Curve Ziatype_10-27-12c > > lpadmin: Unable to open PPD “/tmp/quad.ppd”: Illegal option keyword string on line 195. > > > On top of it all, QuadRIP no longer shows up in User/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners. Do you have any idea where this file might be hidden so I can delete it? I suspect it's somewhere in the Library but no amount of searching has found it. > > Thanks in advance. btw, I love QTR, especially when it's working properly! ;-) > > Bill > >
