Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Artisan 1430 w/QTR banding

Bernard,

I would recommend this printer as well.

In fact I usually have at least one or two new printers in storage just in case Epson discontinues them. At the current price they are essentially disposable printers!

The print quality is excellent and they are very inexpensive. The one inch margin issue is a small price to pay when you consider the benefits of this printer IMHO.

       I had seen
this 1 inch margin discussion befor but hoped there was a
better solution. If there really is a problem using QTR with
the 1430 why is this printer being recommended by Paul
Roark? I based my purchase soley on this recommendation and
will not bevery happy to have such a work around needed. The
epson driver works quit well although as others have noted
has less detail in the lighter areas. I really want to use
this machine with QTR and all of the controls available. Has
Mr. Roark ever responded to this issue?
