I have had no problem using QuadTone RIP with my Windows 8.1 software on a PC printing on my Epson P600. Only issue I have is loading the correction curve into QTRgui. Would guess that you could run the new version without deleting the old, but what's the point of keeping the obsolete? Hope this helps. And any help with loading curves would be appreciated.

I'm looking for guidance about setting up Quad Tone RIP to drive my new
Epson SureColor P800 printer. I intend to use the standard Epson ink.
I have QTRgui 2.7.0.0 and QTR 2.7.2 installed on my Windows 7 64bit
computer, set up to work with my previous Epson R2400 printer.
I have downloaded the QTR_Setup_2.7.8.EXE file -- can I simply run that
setup file, or should I remove the old QTR installation first?
Are there any hazards I should be aware of?
(And I'd like to take this moment to thank Roy Harrington for his work
on QTR -- I've been a happy user since the days of the Epson 1160).
