QTR-Quadtone RIP

I've been using QTR for a long time on my 9600 and it was totally easy
to install and use.

I just tried all night trying to make the driver work for the
Piezzotone  K6 inks on my 7000 and no matter what I do I keep getting
an error in the printer output dialogue that the printer is not
responding. The printers "appear" to be installed because I can select
them and everything is visible, curves and all, in the QTR print driver.
However, when I went to load QTR and selected Rendezvous I could never
get QTR to show up to add it there. I had to go to USB and scroll down
to the printe type gimp print and qtr. This doesn't seem right but I
can find no specifics on the website about this printer.

My regular Epson 7000 driver is working fine and even with it my
greyscale looks good and smooth with g2.2.

I have tried reloading may times on my G4 and once with my G5 and
nothing is happening. I am wondering if it is just a problem with the
7000?
