I was in the same dilemma as you and was looking at the Eye-One to tweak my B+W. Then 
PrintFIX PRO came along and I tried it....works great. It's at least as accruate as the Eye-
One.

I'd say the only negitive thing about it is that it's a one-click-per-patch reader... It's only 
an issue for making color profiles that have a 200+ or 700+ patch target. Unlike the Eye-
One where you move the spectro across the row to read - with the PrintFIX spectro you 
need to click the spectro once for each patch. BUT if you are on a Mac I wrote an 
AppleScript to automatictaly read each row.

If on Windows there is a program called HotKeys that can do the same.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
