If your print is not actualy wet, take a look at it under oblique lighting. It's possible you will see a distinct difference between the blacks and the rest of the image. It is likely if that is so that your machine is flooding the paper eg:too much black ink. If you are using a generic curve that is designed for your printer model,ink and paper, it probably needs to be adjusted for your specific machine.
