I use the Xrite utility ColorPort to generate and measure a 21step target. I save the measurements to a file (format cgats). This file can be used for the linearisation and icc-profile utilities. The main problem is the "colored" layout of the Pulse-targets. I split the target into two parts: the grayscale steps and the target-Id stuff. I print the grayscale target with QTR and overprint the target-ID with Qimage. Winfried
