QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am testing inks and submitting them for light fastness testing using
the Blue Wool Scale test method.  I am printing colour patches using
the QuadTone RIP; selecting an individual cartridge in the Graphical
Interface.

However, I would like to be able to increase the ink density of the
colour swatches produced by the RIP.  I cannot match the density of
the ink swatches produced by the RIP to that produced by doing a
draw-down using a wrire wound K-bar.  Is there a way to do this please?

Altering the paper type or DPI setting doesn't appear to make any
difference.

I apologise to members if I am being totally ignorant, as I am totally
new to this.
