I.e. you may not need to back out the patch -- it may be just that you have to re-add the printer in Printer Setup. But in any case, Jim, I got a panther usb for backing out the patch. It on my website at: www.harrington.com/unusb.zip It works similarly to the patch, just run un-usb-patch.command. Roy
