QTR-Quadtone RIP

I have been happily producing B&W prints on my PC using QTR.  The
controls seem straight forward and intuitive using the PC.

I have switched to Mac (totally new to this computer system and can't
understand why the familiar QTR interface isn't available.

I have tried installing the QTR a couple of times.  I am either doing
something very wrong (most likely), or the QTR behaves very
differently on a Mac.

Can anyone please explain what is happening?  I am based in the UK,
but will be happy to telephone who might be able to help me, as I am
getting nowhere fast with the Mac.
