Re: Using QTR on Museo Silver Rag with 9600 UC Inks?

2006-12-17 by john dean

Right,

I've tested this when SR first came out. There is no way to work with
black and white out of K2 Epson inks with any of these glossy papers,
even with PK. The bronzing and the gloss differential isn't workable
even with 3 coats of after spray and contoling print tone is impossible.

K3 works well though. The extra light light black makes all the
difference in combination with the new glossy formulated PK of the K3
set. Cone pigs don't work at all either on SR.
