I am a new member and I am sure I am about to ask a
question that has been asked before.
I am using an Epson 1280 with UT2 inkset. I
have just tried the QTR and there is some improvement but I think I have not
used it correctly. The user guide seems straight forward until I get to
"Creating and Editing Curves". I can't tell if that is something I am
supposed to do even though I am using Epson Enhanced Matt and a curve for that
paper exists in the program.
I don't seem to be getting the dynamic range I
hoped for and the blacks are not that dense. I prefer neutral prints so I
am using neurtral curves at 100%. The ink limit and gamma sliders don't
seem to make much difference either.
Have I missed something along the way or is this
normal?
