Kirk, Exactly. I use MIS Eboni in the black slot as a replacement of the standard Ultrachrome Matte black, and standard Epson Ultrachrome carts in the other slot. Then print with the QTR profiles of your choice with the blending of your choice, that are part of the QTR software package. Matte black will also work, but I use Eboni because it is less warmer then the Epson matte black, is slighlty better with respect to D-max and Archival qualities (and just because I still have some carts on stock).
