Hello: I was recently doing some printing for a client with the latest QTR version for Mac OSX on a Stylus Pro 4000 (matte paper). The printer was connected via USB to a G5. The job gets sent fine and the paper loads fine from the paper cassette. Then, as the print head is just about to print and it ejects the paper. This is on letter-size paper. Using the Epson driver, there was no problem with paper loading or printing. I'm curious if this is a documented problem and if it could be related to firmware or some other hardware or software issue. I uninstalled and re-installed QTR, and then re-loaded the profiles via the install script, but that did not help. I also plugged the USB cable (6 foot) directly into the G5 instead of through the Hub. I restarted Photoshop CS2 but did not restart the computer because it was importing files into Lightroom at the time. I did not have a chance to try printing after the Lightroom import was done because the import took many hours. I am mentioning this just in case this is a common fix. I will ask my client to try printing again tomorrow after restarting, but for now, I thought I'd ask here. Thanks for any advice, Andrew Darlow --------------------------------------------------- Andrew Darlow Editor, The Imaging Buffet http://www.imagingbuffet.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
