QTR-Quadtone RIP

I'm presently using MIS UT7 ink carts for a 2200 using Paul 
Roark's workflow (and his curves) for the Epson Driver. I wanted 
to know:

 Are there any advantages of using QTR with these inks and, If 
so, what are they? 

Also, can I use the QTR supplied curves when using these inks?
