Michael - I don't think it is a defective printer, because my R1800 does the same thing. I read someone says it may be about rollers, and that seems logical, I don't seem to have a problem when printing with the Epson driver, just QTR. I don't really understand why QTR and R1800 would present paper thickness problems, I have worked around the problem my being patient (sometimes takes 5 or 6 tries, sometimes only 1) and giving a little assistance to the paper feed process to help it catch on the rollers. Probably not a scientific approach, but it really is only a small annoyance. Is this a common problem or do I have a defective printer. I have tried thicker 250gsm and regular 20lb copy paper and it does bad things with both. Any thoughts.....Michael G [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
