QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello,

I own a Xrite Pulse Elite spectrophotometer and I am interested in 
using it to create curves for my Epson Pro 4000 with QTR. I see that 
there is a utility that has been generously created and offered by a 
memeber here to allow this to be done. I have downloaded the file and 
unpacked it. I do not have my Pulse attached to the computer that I 
downloaded it to or the software installed. I have clicked on the 
application but it does not open. Do I need to have my Pulse attached 
to the computer to open the Pulse Reader utility? Thanks in advance 
for any assistance.
