You can look at your QTR curves and see if CYAN is present. However, your CYAN cartridge will get used whenever the printer goes through a cleaning cycle, even though the ink is not being used to print. This could cause the almost empty display. - Stephen stephen.sbillard.org -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of rip_id2857 Sent: Monday, September 03, 2007 2:08 PM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] QTR uses cyan although turned off Hi, I'm printing with only black and photo black turned on , on my Epson R800. Despite this it looks that my printer is still using CYAN, because looking at the printer monitor it suddenly gave me the message that the CYAN cartridge is almost empty ! So, it looks to my that CYAN is being used although not turned on in QTR. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks, Herman Yahoo! Groups Links
