I thought I had read a few posts where there was reference to BO with QTR and I was wondering how that was done. The only reason I'd want to try it with QTR is to see if I could get a BO print without the microbanding that I often get with BO and the Epson driver. I've done a fair amount of experimenting with QTR comparing it to BO and there are times where I really love the BO look, without the need for lots of curve/ink settings experimentation for each paper. I don't like the dither pattern/microbanding though that often accompanies BO. I actually use QTR for most of my BW printing, but when I saw some posts referencing BO/QTR, I thought that it would be worth a look. --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Brian Ellis" <bellis60@v...> wrote: > > I've searched the archives and somehow have missed it, but HOW do you > > print BO (black only) using QTR ?? > > Why would you want to use QTR if you're printing BO? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tony Bonanno" <tbonanno-ranger2004@m...> > To: <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Saturday, July 30, 2005 2:41 PM > Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] BO with QTR > > > > Hi Group, > > > > I've searched the archives and somehow have missed it, but HOW do you > > print BO (black only) using QTR ??
