Re: BO with QTR

2005-07-31 by Tony Bonanno

I thought I had read a few posts where there was reference to BO with
QTR and I was wondering how that was done. The only reason I'd want
to try it with QTR is to see if I could get a BO print without the
microbanding that I often get with BO and the Epson driver. I've done
a fair amount of experimenting with QTR comparing it to BO and there
are times where I really love the BO look, without the need for lots
of curve/ink settings experimentation for each paper. I don't like
the dither pattern/microbanding though that often accompanies BO. I
actually use QTR for most of my BW printing, but when I saw some posts
referencing BO/QTR, I thought that it would be worth a look.
