QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am having a similar problem on my Epson 2200 except the ink spots are on  
the edges of the paper at the end of the printing. And mine also does not do it 
 with Epson printing. -- Robert

in solid black areas I'm getting roller marks from QTR but not  from
the Epson driver, on my Epson 2100.

The only possible reasons I  can think of are a difference in ink load
and a difference in print speed,  perhaps.

However, while reducing the link limit in QTR did reduce the  problem,
it did not remove it.

Can anyone please suggest a cause or  something to try to rectify this?
