RE: [QuadtoneRIP] Re: MIS UT3D Ink in Epson 2200

Joost,

Thanks for the update on the curves...... If you don't mind it would be
great if you could post them.

I am really have a tough time getting the inks to work. After I loaded them
all I get is random nozzle checks. Its purely random. I run the head
clean then print and its totally random.

I have used up all the ink running tests and never go to the curves. I am
trying to decide if I order more ink or just pass on the UT3D....

Any comments or suggestions would be helpful.

Paul

I'm not sure if Tom is referring to my curves (QTR-2100-UT3D.zip, the
2200 is the US type number for the 2100). These are a bit older
curves using 1440 dpi and some split-tone curves. Later I made some
2880 dpi curves for some (marginally) improved smoothness. Also I
left out the split-tone curves as QTR has now a much more advanced
split-tone control itself. Let me know if you are interested in these
than I will post them as well.

Joost
