Encouraged by your experiences on the 1800 I went back and tried the 1900
single sheet feed again.
Neither 2.6.1.0 or 2.6.2.0 work either pre or post loading the paper. They
print into fresh air for the first inch or so.

However one of Roy's test versions he had sent me does work with pre or post
loading.
Must have somehow missed that the other evening during testing; probably the
grape juice effect.

Note that I do find that the single sheet paper feed is very very sensitive.
You have to load the paper all the way into the hard stop and then the
printer should suck it in a bit further BEFORE it does the major paper feed.
If it doesn't suck it in a bit first, then you will probably get a misfeed
on print and have to cancel the job in the printer queue and hold the
dustbin button down on the printer for ever before it resets.
