QTR-Quadtone RIP

Eric Edmondson and I are developing a loose set of techniques for matching any split-tone print from any bw print system (silver or digital) using modern inkjet printers and correct software (1880, z3200, etc)

The software we have tested them on have been ColorBurst and StudioPrint but with a good RGB driver and a good modern inkjet printer there is no reason why these methods wouldn't work on anything.

We will be publishing the methods at labography.com soon (once I get done with my classes this semester) and will be soliciting people to give us LaB data or silver/digital gray-ramp prints so we can build an archive of print hue/luminance values before silver is completely "dead."
