These days, even former proponents of Cone Systems inks seem to be asserting that an Epson 3880 with OEM inks produce b/w results comparable to that printer with Cone inks. (I'd probably go with the "Piezography K8 Warm Neutral Matte & Glossy System". Does anyone have direct experience with going from a best effort to make the Epson OEM inks work to the Cone Inks, especially using the latest matte/gloss sets. If so, I'd love to hear about your experience.
