QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello!

I've been doing a lot of reading and am still a bit confused. 

1. Is Carbon 6 ink, the same ink as Eboni 6? (The full black)?

2. Do I order Carbon 6 where?

Anyone using Eboni or Carbon 6 in an Epson printer beside Regular Epson Chrome 
Color cartridges?

I would just like to replace the Epson Matte Black in a r1900 with Eboni or 
Carbon 6, and leave the rest of the system as stock for color and glossy.

I've read, Eboni should not be used alongside the Chome Epson inks in a system. 
That the Chrome 6 doesn't have that problem? Correct?

I'd like to order the 4oz Ink with a refillable cartridge. I've read to buy a 
cartridge without a sponge? What about the chip? Auto reset? Or Regular?

If anyone has experience with adding just the MATTE Black ink to an r1900 or 
similar printer, I'd appreciate some guidance. This is a new printer. I'm about 
out of the starter Matte Black. I'd rather put the money into buying 4oz of the 
Carbon Ink than wasting it on a Epson Cartridge.

I'm new at QTR as well, But am getting VERY nice Matte Black prints on 
Strathmore Smooth Bristol Board. Very neutral gray with the stock epson 
cartridge.
