QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello and thanks for any help

I am using a PC win 7 QTR version 2.7.5.0. I am able to create the curve and it saves to the hard drive but the new curve does not load into the Curve Setup Curve 1 box. I have not used QTR for a while and wondering if I am missing something. Below is what i am doing.

Tools >CURVE CREATION>FILE>select a file (QIDF)> click OPEN>(colored inks should be filled in)

File> SAVE AS ---new name------ > click GREY CURVE > BROWSE TO CURVE MADE IN PS FROM TEST STRIP CLICK SHOW CURVE AT PROMPT SAVE FILE

I'm not sure this will help, but a similar discussion is going on over in the DigitalBlackandWhitethePrint group. It's possible your curve is here:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP

I believe that's a hidden file so you'd have to go to FolderProperties to make it visible.

I don't know why but I went out for an hour or so, without shutting the computer down or reloading QTR and when I came back I tried again and the curve would load. Since then I have tried several others and they all load. Also the list of previously loaded curves is now different than when the curve would not load.
