I downloaded qtr for the 1430 and in the print dialogue box I am not getting the curve settings, the controls are there but the only thing that shows is the ink profile...like K6. I have the standard epson inks in the printer, just got the printer, and would like to see if I can get this to work. Have qtr also on my epson 4000. Any input appreciated.

Did you run the Install command?
Applications>QuadToneRIP>Profiles>1400-1430-CL>Instal1430=1400.command
That's for Mac. I don't remember the Windows location.

Looks like there are only 2 curves for the 1430-CL. They don't show up in the Curve dropdown list on the QuadToneRIP section of the Print dialog? When you ran the install.command did the terminal window show any errors? Try running it again. Be sure you run the 1430 command, not the 1400. If they still don't show up check the terminal window for any clues. Copy and paste the entire text from the terminal window here if possible. If not, make a screenshot and upload it to the files section. Maybe I or someone else here will recognize the problem. Keith Keith Schreiber jkschreiber.com

yes, 2 curves that are the names of the ink profiles! But you don't get the list of tones, like selenium, sepia, neutral etc.

Ah, I see. You are looking for curves that don't exist or are not part of the package. Look in the group files section to see if anyone has uploaded other curves for this printer. You may have to make custom curves yourself. They do exist for other printers but those all use pigment inks and have more channels than the 1430, so those won't be of much help. Hopefully, someone here will have made some custom toned curves for the 1430 and will be willing to share. I use a 1430 but with Piezography K6 inks so I'm afraid I can't help you there. Good luck, Keith Keith Schreiber jkschreiber.com
